  34. Hello, I would like to find a FAQ on packet satellite communications.  Does
  35. anyone know if such a thing exists?  I found a FAQ on packet radio but not
  36. pacsat.  I would like to begin working it but need to know the basics 
  37. including the equipment needed.  Thanks.

  54. GA>minutes after local sunrise.  Gil has seen the reentry before after
  55. GA>sunrise from Houston and says it should still be very visible as an
  56. GA>orange fireball with a white streak behind it.

  59. Several years ago I had the opportunity to spot the shuttle as it
  60. re-entered.  I was sitting quietly watching NASA Select on the cable and
  61. realized that the ground track and altitude they were showing might just
  62. give me a viewing opportinity.  This was in near full daylight.  I ran
  63. to the back of the house and figured out the geography, looked in that
  64. direction and sure enough *there it was!*.  Just like your friend
  65. described it.  As I write this, the shuttle landed this morning so I
  66. hope you got a chance to see it.  In the future, don't give up because
  67. of the time of day, it's possible!

  70. my internet account at work to subscribe.  I hope I got the syntax
  71. correct.
